Brownie Bliss Mix-up is the first of the seven Mix-ups I created after The Goody Mix.
Why? –Because I love brownies. Deep dark chocolate brownies. I also like things to be easy and I love knowing exactly what is in the food I serve to others ( and myself!)
It is very thrifty and easy to make. It can be used cup for cup like a boxed mix It has more flexibility though. I have recipes that use as little as 1/2 cup to as much as 4+ cups of the Brownie Bliss Mix-up. I never have an orphaned half box of forgotten mix sitting in a dark corner of my pantry (or have to run to the store for yet another little box).
Because I make it myself I can choose to double or triple the batch as needed. ( You can keep it on the shelf for at least 6 months.). It has no added fat, artificial sweeteners or odd fillers or chemicals like store purchased mixes.
Today I’m bringing the Brownie Bliss Mix-up recipe home and offering it directly from my blog. Until now this mix has resided solely on a Facebook app (widget) on the Baking Outside the Box page.

Brownie Bliss Mix-up Recipe
DIY brownie mix that is thrifty, easy and deeply chocolate.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Goody Mix
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 1/2 Cups cocoa
- 3 Cups sugar
Instructions
- Mix ingredients in large bowl.
- Pour all ingredients into a gallon size zip-type plastic bag or in a tightly sealed container that will hold at least 9 cups.
- This will make 8 1/2 cups Brownie Bliss Mix.
