Make this charming and easy baby elephant edging. Easy video tutorial.

Please note: This article was recently updated to include a written pattern to download.  Find it here.

Here is a short and simple video tutorial for my crochet edging,’Baby Elephants on Parade’ .  I should call it ‘Elephants at 30,000 feet as I was on an airplane when I created it (and tired of making shells).

This crochet edging is very easy to learn and whips up quickly.  If you would like to see the method used for preparing the fleece blanket and the foundation row, head on over to Angel Peterson’s  ‘FleeceFun’ to see my guest post about it. Here’s the video:

I would love to learn how to create this adorable border but the video does not play:( I have tried to get it to play on 2 different desktops, a laptop, my smartphone, tablet, and ps3. I don’t know if it is my Internet server but have tried and tried but to no avail. Do you have written directions? Please help.
    Thank you
    Donna

Hi Donna, Sorry you are having problems with the video. And you are right, I should write down the pattern. I’ll see if I can get that up next week for you. The video is working on my end of things. I thought perhaps if it was directly off of YouTube it might work better for you. Here is the direct link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z131VJrh7CI (Just copy and paste it in your browser)
      Hope that helps!

Love the elephant edging. That is so creative. Thankyou so much for sharing it. I am making a baby blanket now for a friend who loves elephant like I do. I want to use it on one for myself too. It realy is a neat border. Thanks again . Happy crocheting 🙂
